I came to Dr Qureishi with a very special case back in September 2019. I have undergone 5 operations in total on my nose, the first 4 was performed at the great western hospital. After many operations the bridge of my nose had collapsed, so it was decided to insert a silicon patch under the skin to strengthen and to create a better structure. This operation was back in 2012. Years had passed and although I had been left with a wonky nose, I had no further problems. Until September 2019 when my body started to reject the silicon implant and pushed it through the tip of my nose. Not only was I in a lot of pain as infection had started but I was also very scared and worried for my future. To me I didn’t think my nose could be fixed or even saved. I requested to be transferred and that is when I met Dr. Qureishi. I was seen immediately with a operation already booked for the following day. I can not explain how much Dr. Qureishi put me at ease. He was so nice and kind and through the whole process he made sure I received the best level of care. I am so grateful that he was my surgeon. The operation went smoothly and so did my recovery. I am writing this review 8 months after my operation and I can not thank Dr. Qureishi and everyone at the John Radcliffe Hospital. They done such an amazing job that after years of damage you would never know I had even had a operation. I look forward to my one year review with Dr. Qureishi. I am sure he is just as happy as I am. Thank you.

Mr Qureishi undertook a polypectomy to remove polyps in my sinuses. The procedure was a little more complex than some because of historical trauma which caused skull fracture including damage to my nasal bridge and sinuses. Extensive plastic surgery was carried out in 1978 (by Ian Jackson in Glasgow) and I was subsequently told it would be difficult to remove polyps due to the danger of so doing. Mr Qureishi was very reassuring and explained very clearly why it is now possible to undertake a complete procedure. He was meticulous about the whole process which has proven very successful. I can smell in a way I haven't been able to for years! I was initially nervous about having the procedure but Mr Qureishi was able to show me why it is now safer to undertake it with modern technology. Should I need to have it done again, I would be happy for him to do it.

I recently had a septoplasty (deviated septum correction surgery) and a turbinate reduction under the care of Dr Qureishi and I am very happy so far with the results and the consultant's professionalism. I highly recommend Dr Qureishi as he has also explained every detail about the surgery and recovery process very well.

Mr Qureishi reviewed my 6 month old for a lump in his neck. He was very reassuring. Great with my son who is usually scared of medical professionals but he was calm around Mr Qureishi. Very professional. Explained everything in detail. Confidence inspiring. Mr Qureishi is an asset to the NHS.
